Perfect Fluffy Omelet
Serves 1 potion.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup / 60 ml milk
- 1 Tbsp / 15 g butter
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- We'll start by whisking the eggs. You can simply crack the eggs into the bowl, add a pinch of salt and start whisking. If you have a couple of extra minutes and would like an extra fluffy omelet, then do the following: Start by separating the eggs. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and whisk them or use a hand mixer or a stand mixer until they reach a stiff consistency. Then add the yolks and gently mix everything together.
- Add the milk to the eggs and mix well.
- In a non stick frying pan, melt the butter over low heat. Make sure the pan is fully coated in melted butter, then add the eggs. Cover with a lid and let cook until the top part is no longer liquid and the eggs have settles.
- Flip the omelet, cover it again and let it sit for another 3-4 minutes.
- Ground some fresh pepper on top and enjoy!
*While this is the basic recipe for an omelet, you can let your imagination run wild and add whatever toppings you'd like. We even made an Omelet Pizza here!
