Perfect Fluffy Omelet

Perfect Fluffy Omelet

Serves 1 potion.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup / 60 ml milk
  • 1 Tbsp / 15 g butter
  • salt
  • black pepper

 

Instructions

  1. We'll start by whisking the eggs. You can simply crack the eggs into the bowl, add a pinch of salt and start whisking. If you have a couple of extra minutes and would like an extra fluffy omelet, then do the following: Start by separating the eggs. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and whisk them or use a hand mixer or a stand mixer until they reach a stiff consistency. Then add the yolks and gently mix everything together.
  2. Add the milk to the eggs and mix well.
  3. In a non stick frying pan, melt the butter over low heat. Make sure the pan is fully coated in melted butter, then add the eggs. Cover with a lid and let cook until the top part is no longer liquid and the eggs have settles.
  4. Flip the omelet, cover it again and let it sit for another 3-4 minutes. 
  5. Ground some fresh pepper on top and enjoy!
