Easiest Overnight Oats

Serves one generous portion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup / 50 grams rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup / 125 ml milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup / 60 grams of yogurt of choice
  • 1 Tbsp / 20 grams of chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp / 20 grams of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp / 2 ml vanilla extract or a splash of rum (rum goes great with raisins, if you decide to go that way with your toppings!)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large enough bowl and mix well.
  2. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Serve the next day with toppings (find the best ones here). Thin out with some milk if the consistency is too solid for your taste.
